The majority of his speech had focused on his former position as Mayor of Vancouver, his time as a policeman, and the role he has played in drug reform. However, his closing remarks came out of left field. “This is the first time I’ve admitted this” he began tentatively — before revealing that he had been microdosing psilocybin for his depression.
