Difference of magic truffles and magic mushrooms
Often we get the question, “what exactly is the difference between magic mushrooms and magic truffles?'' and “is there really a difference?”. Mushrooms and truffles both live within the Fungi kingdom and both contain the same properties that make you ‘trip’; however they grow in different ways and places and look quite different. But are magic mushrooms and truffles really that different if you are searching for a psychedelic effect?
Above and below ground
If you are searching for a psychedelic trip, we can assure you that with both magic mushrooms and truffles, you will find what you’re looking for. The biggest difference between the two is that mushrooms grow above ground when the weather is suitable, and truffles grow below ground when the weather isn’t. Only a handful of magic mushroom species can produce truffle variants though, species such as the Psilocybe Tampanensis or the Psilocybe Mexicana are popular choices that we sell.
Growth of magic truffles
So magic truffles are like magic mushrooms but below the ground, made of dense and concentrated mycelium, the mycelium grows in this fashion to form small balls we know as the truffles. These truffles are actually food stores for the fungi when weather conditions are too harsh to fruit mushrooms, by being able to create truffles, some fungi can survive through severe heavy rains and floods. When the weather conditions improve the truffles begin spreading and mycelium threads shoot for the surface to grow their mushrooms.
Shroomtrip and magic truffles trip
From our personal experience we have found that the psychedelic trips you get from magic truffles does not differ to the trip you would get from mushrooms, it is very important to remember though that you dose correctly, as 1g of mushrooms is not equal to 1g of truffles.
