Oh boy, we’ve got some mushroom history here! So, back in the ’90s, Robert McPherson created a strain of mushrooms called PF Original. He did not stop there, PF went on to develop his own strain, and named it Fanaticus Original, which is said to be super potent and reliable. Both shrooms have their own unique quirks and are beloved by the mushroom community for their trippy effects and easy-to-grow nature. Nothing to be confused about between PF Orginal vs. Fanaticus Original even though they’re introduced both by Robert.
This strain is relatively easy to grow and produces thick, dense fruiting bodies with a characteristic bell shape.
It is favored by many enthusiasts for its intense psychoactive effects, which can include vivid visual and auditory hallucinations, altered perception of time, and a profound sense of connection to the world around them. Despite its potency, Fanaticus Original is also known for producing a euphoric and uplifting experience, making it a popular choice for spiritual and therapeutic use.

- Glass jars (as wide-mouthed as possible so you can get the substrate cake out again.)
- Vermiculite (a growing medium, easy to find at your local garden or hardware store.)
- Brown rice flour (Can be found in supermarkets, especially the kind with a Whole Foods vibe)

The package arrived looking good ...
The package arrived looking good but the contents of the bag where not in vaccum (slightly puffy) anymore. I could not find any puncture in it so, I assume it’s gas released from the samples. It’s already close to summer down here so, maybe it’s some organic processes happening that do not affect the quality and the expected magical effects (hopefully). Of course it was immediatly stored in the fridge upon arrival.
